Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Compass Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") developed the game We Should Run (the "Game"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you play the Game and how it is handled. By playing, you agree to this policy.

The short version

We do not collect, store, or sell your personal information. The Game has no accounts or logins. Your saved games stay on your own device. Online co-op connects you directly to the people you choose to play with. Some third-party platforms you use to run the Game, including Steam and Discord, have their own privacy policies.

1. Information we collect

The Game does not require an account and does not collect names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers. We do not run analytics, telemetry, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

2. Online multiplayer

The Game's online co-op connects players directly to one another using peer-to-peer connections. To make a connection, your device and the devices of the players you connect with exchange IP addresses. This is a normal and necessary part of networked play.

We do not run matchmaking or game servers, and we do not collect or store your IP address or connection data.

If you host an online session, the Game may use UPnP to ask your router to open a port so others can connect. You can disable UPnP in your router settings if you prefer to configure connections manually.

3. Third-party services

The Game may interact with the following third parties. Each service is governed by its own privacy policy:

We do not control and are not responsible for these services' practices.

4. Children's privacy

The Game is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA or UK. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Data retention and security

Because we do not collect or store your personal information, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our end. Local save files remain on your device until you delete them.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR or CCPA, you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Because we do not hold your personal data, there is little for us to act on directly.

For data held by Steam or Discord, please contact those companies. You can reach us with privacy questions using the contact information below.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
